[Preparations for v0.4]
A copy of the simulation has not been provided due to issues with performance.
Details follow.
To report the issues in question:
Previous builds of the simulation would bake lights into the scene. This essentially means that all lights are simulated, then saved so that your local machine does not need to simulate it itself. This only works for geometry that does not move.
A new build of the simulation involves live generation of rooms, which means that lighting is now a prominent issue. The current build falls for the compromise of simply ignoring performance flaws since "it runs fine on my computer anyways." However, this issue spells trouble for any coming non-downloadable builds. It is likely that a separate version with objectively less appealing light trickery will have to be made to have any hope of maintaining the web build.
This also means that there is a chance that the current lighting settings at play will cause other performance issues across varied devices. This change is rather significant, since it goes from being perfectly able to run through a browser on a Chromebook to being unable to attempt to open without freezing any browser in question.
A "functional" web build will hopefully be out in due time. However, the downloadable build is fine. Despite that, we plan to release both versions at the same time.
Luckily, this won't be a problem for our active playerbase.
If there is anyone left to be excited, though, now is a good time to be.
