v0.1: We lay the foundation
A copy of the simulation has been provided to some to test the performance of the application.
Please note that the included application within the zipped folder is likely to have significantly better performance than that more easily accessible.
To chronicle the journey:
-A long while ago, the analogs were made. This started with the head, with breakable glass. Different rendering methods were tested for visual effect, but were discarded.
-The firearm was recycled from a previous simulation. Hands were considered, then discarded.
-This marks the first training video. The analogs were mostly completed, given a body. Lighting was modified. Basic weapon handling was added, using resources from a previous simulation. Temporary sounds were added, including foreign music and breaking audio. These have since been discarded.
-This marks the second training video. New sounds were added, including public resource audio for breaking and impacts. An original track was created to fill the space of the foreign one. Projectile impacts were handled properly, and now leave signs of entry. Impact audio can be handled for different materials. The weapon was centered, with the sights now usable. Armor is now at play, capable of protecting analogs. A suitable scene has been created to display these things, with the old one being discarded.
-A minor issue was present in the second training video, with the subject's handling of the weapon being subpar. The movements are noticeably erratic. This has been corrected.
