Edac-sac!

Edac-sac is an unfinished third-person hand-drawn (?) hack-and-slash prototype loosely based off of The Legend of Zelda.

Through it's extensive (and non-productive) year in development, it underwent its own meta-narrative as each build evolved.

You only get to see the final iteration of this self-referential chain. The rest will only be fragmented through the development logs.

This project might be remade. Many mechanics were thought, brought, broken and fixed. Now that I have a better idea on what this kind of game as a whole would need, I think a complete rework would help push it to greater heights.

As for now, the (slightly buggy) project serves as a timepiece and a show of what we were able to get done in the time. That being:
-A proof of concept for a game genre.
-A good experience for UI, interacting systems, level geometry, and feel.
-A display of art (where the polished ones are done primarily by Steg1118).
-(An attempt at having) a good display of cooperative work between multiple people.

I, McMarkusMcMiller or nitsujturtle, have to personally thank Steg1118 for the inspiration, creative direction, and contributed art for the project. For now, though, this tale of Edac-sac will end...

Some AI upscaling site was used as a joke for the page, but I don't remember which one it was.
